If you've emailed an mp3 to me, I have it and am saving them to play in the very near future. I'm also going to start a new column on this site that highlights a local band of the month. THE HISTORY OF THE SUPER ROCK FUNSHOW

The Super Rock Fun Show was an Internet radio show on Cal State Fullerton's Titan Internet Radio. In 2006, The Super Rock Fun Show left the station...never to be heard again. HOWEVER, because of how lame/unlistenable modern broadcast radio is, we have no other options but to bring back The Super Rock Fun Show, for the sake of the people.

What is Punk Rock?

Punk rock is here to stay and is more and more bands are emerging and bringing with them a fresh sound and new perspective on what it means to be punk (not the name-brand, Urban Outfitters punk, but be who you are regardless of mainstream pressure).

 

Punk Rock Internet Radio - The Way of the Future

Punk rock Internet radio is what will dominate the music industry in the near future. Why? Because punk rock is a form of expression; an expression that can’t be limited by the rules and regulations of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). That’s why punk rock Internet radio exists today. The Internet is not controlled by the FCC. Punk rock internet radio DJs are free to play the best in punk and underground rock without free of penalty. That means they can let every “F” bomb drop without blinking an eye. And when you take away the “F” bomb from a song, you’re stripping it of its nature and power.For example, if you take away “Fuck” out of a Minor Threat song, it loses part of its original energy. Words have energy, and the FCC tries to control what people think by controlling the words we hear. Anger can be verbally and physically expressed. More black eyes occur when we aren’t allowed to verbalize our anger, and instead throw punches.That’s why punk rock Internet radio will grow to become a dominating and influential broadcast tool in the near future. There are already hundreds of independent, free thinking punk rock internet radio stations on the Internet today. The Super Rock Fun Show is just one of them.
